Our standard

We build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Among other things, that means:

  • Every image that carries information has a text description.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and links and buttons show clearly where you are.
  • Form fields have labels, and required fields are marked.
  • Text and background colors have enough contrast to read, and pages work when text is enlarged.
  • Pages use headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them.
  • The site works on phones and tablets as well as computers.

How we check

Each time we update the website, every page is tested against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules before it is published. We fix any problem we find before the update goes live.

Services from other companies

Some things you reach from our website are provided by other companies, including our online loan application and loan status portal, interest payments, and website chat. We choose providers that work to make their services accessible, but we do not control their pages. Some older forms and documents on this site are PDF files that may not work well with every screen reader.

If any of these gives you trouble, please contact us. We will help you complete the application, make a payment, or get the information you need another way, such as by phone, by email, or in a different format.

Contact us

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or have a suggestion to make it easier to use, please let us know. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond as soon as we can.
