Texas Construction Loans - Custom and Remodels

Since 1994, Construction Financial Services (CFS) has offered financing to individuals and homebuilders in new home construction, remodeling and finish-out. We specialize in providing construction to permanent mortgage financing by working closely with Loan Officers who need construction loans for their consumers.

We are not your typical construction lender. We understand that not everyone is alike and not everyone's needs are the same. We conduct our business with a great deal of integrity and pride ourselves on our customer service. Open communication between the borrower, builder and permanent mortgage lender is essential in the successful completion of construction.

What Is An Interim Construction Loan?

Interim construction loans are short term loans, usually 3-6 months, which provide the funds necessary to pay for improvements to real estate. These loans provide the means necessary to "bridge the gap" between a dream and its execution. In most instances, a permanent mortgage is only available for land and completed improvements. Interim loans fund the construction phase and are ultimately paid off by the permanent mortgage when the improvements have been completed.

We offer construction loans on properties located in Texas, including the following cities and surrounding areas: Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Del Rio, Floresville, Fort Worth, the Hill Country, Houston, Lubbock, San Antonio, The Valley and Waco.

Lenders are required to provide the "Your Home Loan Toolkit", which has been provided by the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau created to comply with federal law pursuant to 12 U.S.C. 2604, 12 CFR 1024.6, and 12 CFR 1026.19(g). THE DEPARTMENT MAINTAINS A RECOVERY FUND TO MAKE PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY BORROWERS CAUSED BY ACTS OF LICENSED RESIDENTIALMORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORS. A WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RECOVERY FUND MUST BE FILED WITH AND INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT OF A CLAIM.
